Yeshe Nyingpo Digital Platform & Community Management

Co-founded the digital presence for a non-profit, leading the initial website design, development, and domain acquisition before managing its growth across multiple channels, including a Wix website, social media, and a Mailchimp newsletter with over 700 active subscribers.

As a co-founder of the digital presence for Dudjom Tersar Yeshe Nyingpo Temple NYC & Orgyen Chö Dzong Retreat Center, I was instrumental in building the organization’s entire online footprint from the ground up. I led the initial design and development of the website and secured its domain, laying the foundation for a connected and engaged global community.

In my ongoing role as the site and social media administrator, my primary goal was to foster this community by providing reliable and timely information through multiple channels. This position combined foundational web development with content strategy and audience growth, allowing me to build a cohesive digital ecosystem. The newsletter, in particular, became the central communication hub for a dedicated audience, with its growth and engagement validated by data analytics.

Key Responsibilities & Achievements

  • Founding Design & Development:

    • Led the initial design, development, and launch of the organization’s first official website on the Wix platform.
    • Researched and acquired the official domain, dudjomtersar.org, establishing a permanent and professional online identity.
  • Newsletter Management & Content Curation:

    • Authored, designed, and published a recurring newsletter multiple times a month using Mailchimp.
    • Successfully grew the mailing list organically to over 700+ active subscribers, maintaining high engagement and open rates (as shown in the audience analytics screenshot).

  • Website Administration:

    • Managed all ongoing content and administrative duties for the website following its initial launch.
    • Regularly updated program information, managed event calendars, and ensured a seamless and accessible user experience for visitors.
  • Data-Driven Strategy:

    • Developed and executed a strategy to drive traffic from the website and social media channels to the newsletter, creating a flywheel of audience growth.
    • Monitored analytics to understand audience behavior and refine content strategy for maximum impact and reach.
